At OMART Christian Child Care Learning & Development Center it is our vision & mission to train and teach children virtue and honor based on the word of God. Our philosophy of child care is based on the word of God. Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it.
The reason Omart exists is to fill a need. Parents always have a need for a child care provider that they can trust, that is reliable and dependable. Locating a provider that fits your child can be very discouraging. We understand very well that everyone doesn’t have family that they can depend on to help with child care.

Our purpose is to provide not only a safe environment for your child but quality child care. Our center will provide a unique learning experience for each child through computers, sign language, educational games, interactive learning videos, arts & crafts, painting, music, math, phonics, and reading.
Our goal is to give each child a strong foundation with the word of god and education using various educational tools. This service will provide your child with well-rounded skills before entering first grade and throughout the school years.

Our staff is required to complete series of training courses in child development every year. This training includes first aid and CPR certification through state qualified organizations. ABOUT THE OWNER
Ms. Obioma Martin grew up in a small neighborhood called Passyunk homes in South Philadelphia. She was her mother's only child. She graduated from Dobbins Vocational high school. Her work history includes retail, customer service, human resources, administration services, health insurance, banking and now a professional family child care provider. Ms. Obioma is married and has four wonderful children. She is a very outgoing person and loves talking to people.
Ms. Martin decided to stop working and become a stay at home mom. Because of her outgoing nature Ms. Martin was bored out of her mind and decided to care for other children. On July 8th 2002, she provided care for a few siblings that belonged to one of her friends, she wanted to see if she could really take care of someone else’s children. She and the children had a great summer. Ms. Martin felt the joy of providing care for other children. The next step was to become a registered provider. On December 16, 2002 OMART Christian Child Care was formed with a certificate of registration to operate a family day care from state of Pennsylvania in her home.
In the last two years she has acquired a wealth of knowledge concerning family child care and the Early child care field. In December of 2002 Ms. Obioma completed the “Family Child Care Entrepreneurship Program” through the Women’s Business Development Center. During the fall of 2003 she completed the “Caring for Children in Family Child Care Series” at the YMCA. On June 15, 2004 Ms. Obioma completed the Child Development Associate training through the YMCA. Currently Ms. Obioma is working on obtaining her Associates Degree in Early Child hood Education at Philadelphia Community College.
